But you don't understand ....

It very easy to put the blame on someone else right? Very easy to hold someone else responsible for the mess in your life. Very easy to say - “But.. You don’t understand.” Well its my favorite dialogue I guess, I use it all the time.
Think about it though. Do you understand? Did you every try to place yourself in the other person’s situation? Tried to walk in their shoes. Its not possible. You or me as an individual can never understand what going on in someone else’s mind, so is it fair to expect someone else to understand?
The sort of world we live in today, nobody has the time or the patience to understand. I think I’v used the word understand a bit too many times now! But the fact is I’v been miserable at times cribbing about the fact that no one understands me. Now however I’v come to the conclusion that no one will either.. Until and unless ofcourse I make an effort to try and explain myself.
The word “express” holds the key to half the self created problems pertaining to mankind! Communication is the most important part of any relationship. Try talking things out, explaining your point of view to the other person and you will see how much difference that makes. Its as simple as that!
